Singers Night
The local Comhaltas Branch hosts its 'Traditional Singers' Night' in Gallaghers' Hotel on Wednesday 2nd December commencing at 9pm.This quarterly event provides a forum for traditional singers to sing without accompaniment in an appreciative setting. If you are a traditional singer or interested in traditional singing you'll be most welcome. This is the final Singers' Night of the year so a good attendance is anticipated.
Weekly Trad Session
The weekly Branch Tuesday night session which is in its 58 year of existence takes place in Gallaghers'Hotel from 9.30pm. All traditional musicians and those interested in Irish Traditional music are welcome. Comhaltas Branch membership is now due for the coming year and payable to the Branch secretary or treasurer who are in attendance on Tuesday nights.
Music Classes
Music classes continue to take place every Tuesday evening from 6.30pm to 8.30pm in Full Tilt Studio beside Highland Radio. Classes are for beginners and intermediate students. All instruments are catered for in the traditional style. We hope to include an adult class in the near future. For more information contact Joe Gibson at 086 0854326.
